In today’s world, having a ton of followers is considered important. In some cases, the amount of following can even be seen as currency. However, the amount of followers has nothing to do with the amount of money a coach makes. I’ve personally had over 40k followers and was unable to make a sale.
Why It’s Not Important To Have A Massive Following
Truth is, only 1 person needs to say yes to become a coaching client. When it comes to selling group coaching or courses, the goal might be more. However, it’s a misconception that a person needs an x amount of followers in order to sell coaching.
People often block themselves from receiving because they do not believe without a shadow of a doubt that they will be able to land a client exactly where they are in life. Besides, it’s also possible to land a client by referral who isn’t even a follower. I’ve had that happen before.
How to actually grow a massive following
Just because Rome wasn’t built in a day, doesn’t mean you can’t grow your following quickly. I’ve exploded my audience a few times and so has my clients. There are clear examples in the video above.
In order to grow a massive audience, a coach needs to show up as if they already have that massive audience. Speak to the future followers as if they’re already there. Otherwise, they won’t have anything to follow once they stumble upon your social media.
The most important thing is to understand that growing an audience happens from the inside out. Once a coach connects with their heart, they will find the steps to take in order to grow. This is how myself and my clients have been able to grow our audiences overnight.
