My life has consisted of people telling me that I can’t do what I want to do.
Sadly, there were times when I believed them.
When I didn’t believe them I could walk the hard road to freedom, which is the theme of my life.
On the outside, it looked like I was constantly complicating things. On the inside, I knew that I was following my intuition.
...And THAT does not fit into the norms.
They said go to college I went to travel as a missionary
They said get an office job, I got job on a trolley train
They said to get married, I dated for 10 years... and counting
They said nobody cares about a girl from Curaçao, I build multiple successful online personal brands
They said to focus on my Dutch to get a scholarship, I became fluent in English (by watching tv with a dictionary at hand).
You can create freedom in all areas of life!

Proving to people that you can create freedom in all areas of life is my fuel. I believe no one should settle for anything less than what they want. That's why the motto for Hey Sheedia is; “Trailblaze Your Way”.

Key Norm Challenging Moments
Missions instead of university
Hopes were high for me to be one of the few in my family to attend university. Especially since I did really well in school. Instead, I felt a call to serve, so I became a missionary for 3 years.
2007
Left religion to find my way
Traveling as a missionary made me realize how much beauty and evil there is in the world. So I hung up my Christian goodie two shoes to find my own way of connecting to the universe.
2012
Quit job to start business
This was my first time quitting my job. Definitely scary, especially since I had no idea what I was doing.
2013
Canceled contracts to heal
I canceled sponsorships in my business to focus on my mental health. At the time I had PTSD and had no idea how to deal with it.
2014
Your business your way
Eventually, I discovered online coaching and decided I started helping people build businesses their way.
2018
Freedom Alchemist
Doing all of that I realized that the Legacy that's been passed down to me and the Legacy that I've created so far is Freedom, and here we are!
